On October 28, 2025, in the very heart of Moscow, the Hungarian Cultural Centre hosted a unique interdisciplinary event “Brain and Heart: A clinical story in three acts”. For the first time, the renovated Liszt Institute became a venue for open exchange of scientific knowledge and cultural dialogue among medical professionals inspired by Hungary’s rich traditions.

Scientific Program Highlights:
Leading experts from Russia’s top medical institutions explored current approaches to diagnosing and treating post-stroke depression and anxiety, discussed lipid profile correction in patients with coronary heart disease and diabetes, and shared strategies for managing cardiovascular risks and rehabilitation after stroke.

Cultural Immersion:
The event featured Hungarian music, traditions, and stories of great composers. This blend of scientific exchange and cultural atmosphere offered a fresh perspective on medicine and emphasized its connection with the arts.

Organized by Egis Pharmaceuticals, a company known for its active support of the medical community and commitment to interdisciplinary dialogue.

Participants praised the format and ambiance, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn new approaches, exchange experiences, and build meaningful connections in a unique cultural setting.

“We were looking for a space where professional medical dialogue could take on a new dimension — surrounded by culture, history, and inspiration. The Hungarian Cultural Centre proved to be the perfect venue, and we’re glad our guests felt the special atmosphere and value of the format,”
— said Irina Kurashkina, Director of Market Access and Public Affairs at Egis-Rus.

The round table became a landmark event for the medical community, bringing together scientific knowledge and culture in one space.
