One of the main objectives of the programme is to raise public awareness of the problem of iron deficiency. Given the high prevalence of iron deficiency among females of childbearing age, timely diagnosis and the provision of adequate iron replacement therapy have become vital elements of an extensive programme of treatment and diagnosis.

The program of support of patients «Ferritin-2023» is focused on detection of frequency and severity of iron deficiency according to indicators of serum ferritin among females of childbearing age. The project provided patients with a blood ferritin test for free. The project covered 60 cities of the Russian Federation. INVITRO Clinical Research  has supported the project and b became its partner. 1971 patient took part in the program. Latent iron deficiency was defined at 1,331 patients (68%).  Statistics has played a key role in the developmentof special State programmes for preventing iron-deficiency anemia through women.

The resource is regularly updated with relevant scientific data and contains materials on the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency, including patient histories and lectures of physicians.
